I’ve been an Interior Designer since I was 11 years old. No, really! While my peers were asking for the lastest fashion trends for Christmas, I asked for the freedom to redecorate my bedroom. Fast forward to present day, my husband hears the same request at Christmas (and like most of my male clients, he doesn’t like it!). Despite all of the early artistic signs, I didn’t recognize my gift until after I completed my formal degree. I spent many years in Corporate America after finishing college at Hampton University. Although the traditional business world was not my calling, my experience working in Marketing, Communications, Real Estate and Customer Service gave me the foundation on which I later built my career. Style de Vie was created in 2002, and I can truly say that I have been pursuing my passion since then. As the Proprietor and Principal Designer of the firm – I am honored to be able to collaborate with our designers, design assistants, and clients to create beautiful spaces. It’s important to me that I connect with my clients, since Interior Design is such an intimate service. In order to deliver a home that speaks to my client’s personality, I must first understand it. My work has been featured in national and local publications, and I was even able to showcase my work on an HGTV program “Kidspace”. I have recently launched a design and lifestyle blog ( and my goal is work as a spokesperson for lifestyle brands. I’d like to eventually launch a line of design accessories.

I recently left the world of sports and premium client entertainment with the Washington Wizards and Washington Nationals to engage more of my natural passions. If you would have told me two years ago that I would be in love with interior design, I would have never believed it! In my current role I get the awesome opportunity to use my gifts to help deliver beautiful homes and service. The previous 10 years of my career have been draped in sales, service, entertainment and event planning for premium and high end clientele. I bring that same motivation to not only satisfy our clients, but to truly invest in their vision of beauty and happiness. As a true philanthropist, non-profit founder and event planner there are a few things that are natural to me that will help ensure your experience is a marvelous one. I am driven to work on the behalf of others. With creativity, I think there is a way to make almost anything possible. I am also all about organization and efficiency. I will be your day to day contact for updates, progress and financial reports. Your vision, your happiness and your satisfaction are my business.
